Giggs to take part time role in Wales international set-up

Manchester United veteran Ryan Giggs is set to be involved with Gary Speed's back room staff, but not as a full-time member, but instead on an ad-hoc basis. Wales take on England at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium on Saturday, 26 March in their Uefa 2012 qualifier.

Speed says Giggs, 37, has to "prioritise" his commitments now he is expected to sign another one year deal at Old Trafford.

"I've spoken to Ryan a few times," said Speed.

"He's very keen, but obviously he's got his hands full at the moment with Manchester United.

"So it won't one of those [situations] where Ryan will come in five or six days before [a game] - he might pop in a couple of days.

"He is very keen, but obviously he's got to prioritise.

"It looks like he's going to sign another year with Man Utd so he's still got that at his age, then he's got to put all his efforts into that.

"But I'm sure Ryan will be knocking around the place, hopefully, now and again."
