Getafe thrashed Real Betis 3-0 on Tuesday night.

Angel Rodriguez gave the hosts the lead with an acrobatic finish which was allowed to stand after initially being flagged for offside.

Getafe added two more goals in the minutes before half time, with fine strikes from Marc Cucurella and Angel taking the game away from their opponents.

Although they didn't ship any more goals after the restart, matters were made worse for Betis when Aissa Mandi picked up two yellow cards in the space of two minutes.

Los Verdiblancos missed the chance to move top of LaLiga Santander with a win, but Getafe do move ahead of Valencia and into first place on goal difference.
