Getafe have opened talks with Manchester United over a new deal for Mason Greenwood.

AS says Getafe kicked off talks with United last about the striker's future.

The forward is on a straight loan to June with the LaLiga club and has impressed under coach Jose Bordalas.

Getafe want to keep hold of Greenwood beyond the end of the season, whether by extending the loan or buying him outright.

For their part, United management are yet to commit to any option as they consider the future of the young forward.
