Atletico Madrid and Getafe are set to get together to sign Real Madrid midfielder Javi Garcia.

Real want £2.5 million for the Spain U21 international, while Atletico are willing to pay £2 million. Getafe are expected to cover the outstanding £500,000 and take Javi Garcia on-loan for this season.

Getafe are also close to sealing a loan deal for Atletico striker Braulio Nobrega.

Meanwhile, Atletico have sent midfielder Mario Suarez on-loan to Celta Vigo.
