Getafe coach Bordalas satisfied with Villarreal draw

Getafe coach Jose Bordalas was left satisfied with their draw with Villarreal on Friday.

Nemanja Maksimovic struck for Getafe before Alberto Moreno equalised for Villarreal.

Bordalas said: "It was a very disputed match, two teams that wanted to win, with rhythm, alternatives in the areas, we have gone from less to more. The start has not been good, Villarreal started better.

"Little by little we were recovering and going in. We managed to take the lead. In the second half we started well, we had control of the game, always against a great team. The tying goal came, there was luck, the ball reached Alberto Moreno.

"The team clearly went for the victory, we had chances, they took balls under the goalposts. I am happy for the effort, for the feeling that victory could be achieved. It was a very difficult match, we must keep the effort of the players."

He added, "Today has been an example of the difficulty of the matches, it is going to be a very attractive second round."
