Getafe coach Jose Bordalas hailed the goalscoring performance of Mason Greenwood for victory over Granada.

Greenwood and Borja Mayoral struck for the 2-0 win.

Bordalas said of the Manchester United loanee: "He is a great player, it is everyone's job, we are very happy with Mason, Borja, Maksi, everyone. Without everyone's work, no one can shine at a high level.

"He has had a great first half. It is everyone's job, it's true that the boys have behaved well, they were aware of the importance of this match.

"The truth is that we wanted to rediscover the victory, to repay the fans for the support and love they give us. Fortunately we have achieved it, we have had a great first half, we have gone out for the game, the goals arrived, the game was controlled.

"The second half we were good, we lacked the goal. Granada with an adverse result went for the game. We had the misfortune of a penalty against us. This is football, it's details."

On Europe, he added: "The truth is that we don't talk about it, everyone was there last season, they have had experiences where they suffered a lot. We try not to talk beyond the next match and seal the points that give us peace of mind and from there we will think about other objectives.

"The players think this way because they have suffered. We must not forget that in May the team had many chances to be in the Segunda Division. Now we have to enjoy the moment but without relaxing one bit."
