Part of Schuster's deal included a clause which stated that he would owe Getafe £250,000 should he break the agreement. However, given their strong friendship and the opportunity for Schuster to go to Madrid, Torres was happy to wave the fee.
With Schuster set to be unveiled as new Real manager on Monday, his smooth departure from Getafe is expected to see the two clubs strike a collaboration agreement. Getafe's relationship with Real has deteriorated in recent years to the point where the Madrid giants simply wouldn't respond to requests about the availability of players.
