Steven Gerrard will commit himself to Liverpool by penning a new deal according to the Daily Mail.

It is believed that the 33-year old midfielder, who is entering the final 12 months of his contract, will soon sign an extension.

Gerrard wants to remain a one-club player and is almost certain to sign on in a bid to finish his career at Anfield.
