The kid brother of Kevin-Prince Boateng has been assured he won't cop any fallout from Germany's anger with the Portsmouth midfielder.
Boateng has become a hate figure in Germany after his FA Cup final tackle on Michael Ballack ruled the Chelsea man out of the World Cup.
Boateng's 21-year-old half-brother, Jerome, is training in Sicily with the provisional German squad, and manager Joachim Loew said: "I told him we will stand by him, absolutely.
"He's a family member, but he is not involved at all. I ask everyone not to get him caught up in this thing."
