Gerard Pique is rethinking his plans at Barcelona.
The defender has a deal to 2019 with Barca, though has been considering his options this season.
Pique has already announced he will retire from international football after the Russian World Cup and there was an expectation he would also quit Barca to move to the USA.
However, Diario Gol says he is now prepared to enter new contract talks with Barca - but with specific demands.
The veteran is demanding a pay-rise to move him above new arrival Ousmane Dembele on the pay-scale. Pique wants parity with Spain teammate Sergio Ramos, who is on far more as Real Madrid captain.
Pique is also seeking playing guarantees to be written into his new deal. He's prepared to accept rotations, but won't tolerate being left out of the starting XI for 'other reasons'. Having seen the way Carles Puyol ended his career at Barca, Pique doesn't want to experience similar treatment.
