According to his agent, former Manchester City and Hull midfielder Geovanni is eyeing a return to England. The 32-year-old Brazilian is currently contracted to native club Vitoria but it is thought they would be willing to let him go this month or in the summer.

Geovanni's agent, Herbert Soo told Sky Sports: "Although he has concrete offers from other clubs in Europe he has his heart set on a return to England.

"He really enjoyed playing in England. He loved the fans and the atmosphere at the games.

"He believes he still has a lot to offer to a top club and we are exploring what options are available for a potential move this month or in the summer."

Geovanni spent the 2007-08 campaign at Manchester City, then left for Hull before joining Major League Soccer outfit San Jose Earthquakes.
