Genoa striker Marco Borriello admits he's reluctant to return to AC Milan if he's only going to be sitting on the bench.
"I don't know anything about the transfer market yet. Soon there will be a meeting for the co-ownership deals and I will find out my future," said the Italian international.
"If Milan want me back they have to talk to Genoa. If President Enrico Preziosi is satisfied with their offer then I will be happy to return to the Rossoneri.
"I am not going there to be the fourth or fifth forward though. If Milan are sure they want me back to be a regular, then it is all good.
However, the Grifoni bomber has made no secret of his wish to stay at Marassi.
"I would like to play for Genoa in order to confirm all the good things I have done so far, but if Milan call me then I am happy too.
"It would be an honour, a nice challenge and an opportunity to play for a great team, which has different targets than Genoa.
"Carlo Ancelotti committed an error misjudging my potential, but I did too. I could have tried harder but there was plenty of competition at Milan and it is normal that the big names take over the small ones
"Anyway, it is all over now and we have cleared the air through the newspapers. Ancelotti and I have a great relationship - the past misunderstandings are forgotten."
