Genoa will reportedly sack coach Alberto Malesani today.

President Enrico Preziosi was furious after yesterday's 4-1 home defeat to Siena, which left them only one point clear of the relegation zone and was marred by a fan protest that suspended the game for 40 minutes.

Sky Sport Italia says Malesani is paying the price for the setback and will be fired to make way for ex-Lecce Coach De Canio.
