Genoa president Enrico Preziosi admits he regrets losing out to Napoli for new Serie A star Ezequiel Lavezzi.
Napoli beat Genoa for the former San Lorenzo attacking midfielder over the summer and Preziosi lamented: "He was a player that we followed for a year.
"We knew that he was a special player, brilliant, indeed very strong."
