Genoa are aiming for a double raid on Arsenal this month.

Sky Italia's Gianluca di Marzio reports Genoa are interested in signing Arsenal outcasts Sokratis and Shkodran Mustafi.

Both of the defenders have fallen out of favour under the management of Mikel Arteta this season.

Genoa are prepared to offer Sokratis a two-and-a-half-year deal.

Sokratis, 32, played for the Serie A side from 2008 until 2010 before he joined AC Milan.

The source states that the 90-cap Greece international has agreed to a move back to Genoa.

But Turkish giants Fenerbahce are expected to make an offer for him this month.

Olympiacos could also make a move for Mustafi – who joined Arsenal from Dortmund in 2018.
