Genoa keep pace with Champions League place

A 2-0 win at home over Udinese has maintained Genoa's push for Champions League football next season. The result was hardly convincing though, as a controversial play-on advantage decision by the referee lead to Genoa's opening goal which was scored on the counter-attack by Sculli.

Udinese's Alexis Sanchez was then controversially sent-off after sarcastically applauding the referee.

Diego Milito completed the scoring for Genoa in the last minute of injury time.
