Genoa president Enrico Preziosi is adamant they won't be losing defender Andrea Ranocchia to Inter Milan.

Ranocchia is co-owned by the two clubs.

"We do not want to make ourselves weaker and must think of a better future," insisted Preziosi.

"Ranocchia asked me not to be sold and I have no intention of selling him. I have no meetings with Inter lined up.

"Of course, if the right price were to be offered, then every player is on the market."
