Genoa have completed the signing of Sevilla fullback Abdoulaye Konko.

Juventus also were interested in bringing the Frenchman back to Serie A following his stint at Siena.

However, Genoa convinced both the player and Sevilla to make the move to Marassi instead.

It has been officially announced that Konko has joined Genoa on a permanent basis and he has already undergone his first training session.
