Genoa coach Gianpiero Gasperini was unhappy with the wayward finishing of Lucho Figueroa after their 2-0 defeat at Reggina yesterday.
It was Reggina's first victory of their Serie A campaign, with Nicola Amoruso and Joelson netting for the hosts. Argentina international Figueroa was making his first start for the season, but couldn't find a way past Reggina's rearguard.
Gasperini said afterwards: "We didn't play badly at all and had some chances with Figueroa, but strangely he didn't make the most of them. Joelson's goal took the wind out of our sails, but we will get back to winning ways soon."
