Genoa coach Alexander Blessin has jokek about his history with Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.

Blessin admits he came close to signing for Klopp during his playing career.

"I have not talked to Klopp after Inter-Liverpool because I am very angry with him," laughed Blessin.

“When I played for Stuttgart Kickers, he was the manager of Mainz and didn't want me in his squad. So I didn't want to talk to him!"

Blessin also spoke of Liverpool's Champions League win at Inter Milan.

“I think Inter did really well, making life very difficult for Liverpool. The result does not reflect what happened during the match between the two teams.

“In fact, I am convinced that Liverpool were very lucky to win the game."
