MLS commissioner Don Garber admits they're keen to tempt Manchester United outcast Bastian Schweinsteiger to the US.

Schweinsteiger has stated he'd be interested in moving to MLS next year.

"Should Schweinsteiger want to continue his unique career, we would appreciate it if he thinks about the MLS," Garber told Eurosport.

"He is one of the greatest players of our time."

Schweinsteiger is tied to United until 2018, but has been told to find himself a new club by manager Jose Mourinho.
