Cristian Gamboa is expected to make his full West Bromwich Albion debut this weekend.
The 24-year old Costa Rica international, who joined the Baggies from Rosenborg in the summer, is likely to step into the right-back position to replace loanee Andre Wisdom when Alan Irvine's side travel to Anfield on Saturday.
England U21 star Wisdom is on loan from Liverpool and is ineligible to play against his parent club meaning Gamboa will start on the right side of defence against the Reds.
Gamboa has made three substitute appearances for Albion so far this season, including the weekend's 4-0 crushing of Burnley when he registered an assist for Graham Dorran's 90th-minute goal.
