Galatasaray president Adnan Polat has admitted disappointment with Miroslav Stoch over his move to Fenerbahce.

Gala believed they had a deal for the former Chelsea winger before Fener trumped them with a quickfire £5.5 million agreement for the Slovakia international.

"Look, I am not angry nor disappointed," said Polat.

"Yes, I thought we had a gentlemen's agreement (with Chelsea). But they were offered more - double - than we made and the transfer was decided. Fenerbahce have won a major battle by doubling the offer.

"I will consider my thoughts about my opponent. When the time comes I will say what is needed."
