Galatasaray goalkeeper Fernando Muslera has welcomed new signing Mauro Icardi.

Former Inter Milan captain Icardi has joined Gala on-loan for the season.

Muslera, formerly of Lazio, said: "A good shot. He played in very big and very strong teams.

"He is an important name. In order for the new ones to settle in, it will be important to stay together on and off the pitch.

"This is why we organise meals at the sports center, to be together."
