Marton Fulop is determined to establish himself as Sunderland's No1 goalkeeper this season.

The former Tottenham keeper said: "I'll give anyone a fight for a place.

"Anyone who comes in will have a big fight with me and Darren [Ward] to get the number one shirt.

"I'm determined to prove to the manager that I should be the number one here. It's a big test, but I think I've shown this summer that I can do it. I've had a good pre-season and I hope that I've shown the gaffer enough for him to have faith in me."
