Doncaster Rovers striker Billy Sharp has a release clause of £1.85million which becomes effective at the turn of the New Year.
The 25-year old has emerged as a target for Premier League clubs Fulham and Wigan Athletic after scoring nine Championship goals so far this term but any interested suitors will have to stump up the aforementioned fee to secure his services.
It is expected that Sharp will depart the Keepmoat Stadium in January with Championships rivals Southampton, Leicester City, Ipswich Town and Hull City are believed to be keeping tabs on the former Scunthorpe and Sheffield United man.
