Fulham striker Ryan Babel has taken aim at Dutch icons Rafael van der Vaart and Pierre van Hooijdonk.

The pair have criticised Babel this season and believe his time with Holland should be over.

But the Cottagers forward hit back when watching Chelsea's defeat at Liverpool.

"Hazard just missed 2 chances! Also lack of quality for sure? Do they have to change him now?" Babel posted to Twitter, while mentioning Van Hooijdonk and Van der Vaart in the tweet. A few minutes later another tweet from Babel followed.

"Hazard missed 2 chances for Chelsea to get back on the same level as Liverpool .. let's see if Van der Vaart now has the same energy during his analysis .. oh no wait, he does not do the Premier League."
