Fulham skipper Danny Murphy felt they "turned on the style" for victory over Sunderland.
Victory put the Whites on 52 points and the evergreen 35-year-old was pleased they could see the SW6 Faithful off with a win in their last home match of the campaign.
"It's always nice to finish with a win," he told fulhamfc.com. "We've played well at the Cottage for the majority of the season to be honest and the fans have witnessed some good football.
"On Sunday again we played some terrific stuff and although Sunderland had some decent spells as well, I think overall we just edged it and deserved the win. We really turned on the style."
