Fulham skipper Danny Murphy is weighing up an offer from Blackburn Rovers.

The Daily Mail says Murphy is considering a surprise move to relegated Blackburn.

The former Liverpool and England midfielder, 35, has become a free agent after five years at Fulham and is ready to drop out of the Premier League if he can agree a two-year deal.

Blackburn face competition from several other Championship clubs, however, with Leicester also believed to be interested.
