Fulham manager Felix Magath believes Rene Meulensteen brought a 'destabilising' approach to Craven Cottage.
The Dutchman was relieved of his duties on Friday and the way he went about his business while in charge of the Cottagers has been heavily criticised by his German successor.
"My predecessor let the team play very attacking football for four games," the former Bayern Munich boss told The Sun.
"Then he suddenly rearranged the defence, and that destabilised the whole team.
"My most important task is to bring in a clear structure."
Magath will oversee Fulham for the first time when they travel to West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.
