Manchester United may have a real chance to offload Scott McTominay in January.
The Red Devils were keen to sell the Scotland international for a mega fee this summer.
However, the club were not able to agree a deal with any suitors, with Fulham having interest late in the transfer window.
Per Fabrizio Romano, McTominay may yet end up at Craven Cottage within a few months.
If Bayern Munich reignite their interest in Fulham star Joao Palhinha, then the Cottagers will target McTominay.
United would then want a significant fee for the experienced midfielder, but are happy to sell.
