Fulham pile more misery on hapless Portsmouth

Jonathan Greening's first goal for Fulham earned the Londoners three points in a 1-0 win over bottom club Portsmouth. Portsmouth looked the livelier outfit in the first half with Kevin Prince Boateng having a couple of chances.

However, after a terrible miss from Stefano Okaka on his debut, Fulham eventually made the breakthrough with 16 minutes left.

Damien Duff's cross took a deflection and Greening was on hand to prod home.

The result was a little harsh on Avram Grant's men, and only a lapse in concentration at the back caused their downfall and they are still six points away from Premier League safety.
