Fulham midfielder Stefan Johansen admits he's disappointed by the sacking of Slavisa Jokanovic.
Johansen was informed of the decision - and Claudio Ranieri's appointment - while with Norway's squad yesterday.
He said, "He has meant a lot to me. It was he who brought me to Fulham. I have new confidence under him and he has been an important part of my career. I have great respect for him.
"But now the results did not go as expected with the spending we have had. So it's fast in this industry and it's always the manager who has to go."
On Ranieri, Johansen added: "It is exciting. Ranieri is a manager who has experienced a lot. I do not know how he is like as a person, but he has got to where he has been. It will be exciting to get back there and see what he thinks."
