Fulham fullback Nick Shorey admits he's eyeing a place in England's World Cup squad.

Shorey has been impressive since arriving at Fulham on-loan from Aston Villa.

He said: "There's nothing worse than not playing. I really loved my time at Forest and was looking forward to going back when this move came out of nowhere.

"I've played for England before and I enjoyed it but I'll leave that for other ­people to talk about. I've two caps and it's great to play for your country."
