Fulham fear Pereira has broken-leg

Fulham midfielder Andreas Pereira was stretchered off during their game against Manchester City on Sunday.

The Brazilian was taken off the field with the assistance of medical personnel due to a broken leg.

The 27-year-old, who was enjoying a successful first season after permanently leaving Manchester United, now faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

Tom Cairney came on for Pereira in the 58th minute of the game, which Fulham lost 2-1.

The Cottagers had briefly threatened to halt City's title run, equalizing after Erling Haaland gave City the lead.

However, a Julian Alvarez strike eventually won the game for City.
