Fulham defender Brede Hangeland insists he was never going to Arsenal before penning his new contract.

Hangeland was linked with the Gunners in the summer.

But he told Absolute Radio: "I think it was more talk from the press, and I've said all along I'm happy to play for Fulham and I have been ever since I came here so I'm in no hurry to go anywhere."
