Fulham defender Jack Grimmer is looking forward to his debut for Port Vale today.
The on-loan Scot is set to face Brentford in League One.
He said: "I came down to Fulham as a right-back or centre-back and they have preferred me to play in the middle.
"This season I have been playing mostly there, but if Micky sees me as a right-back I am more than willing to play in that role.
"I am not blessed with lightning pace, but would still class myself as pretty quick.
"I am a strong competitor for my age. When I was brought up in Aberdeen it was drilled into me from a young age to be competitive, so the fans can definitely expect that side of my game to be strong."
