Fulham have coughed up a tidy fee to Hoffenheim for their new midfielder Havard Nordtveit.

The Norway international has signed for Cottagers on-loan to the end of the season.

And Fulham have paid a €1m fee, reports BILD, to take Nordtveit on a six-month loan.

TSG chief Alexander Rosen says: "Fulham presented us with a compelling offer on Wednesday.

"After intensive and good discussions with the player, we decided together to respond to it, because it also makes sense in sports terms."
