Fulham chairman Al Fayed assures Hughes over job

Fulham boss Mark Hughes has been assured his job is safe.

The Daily Mail says Fulham owner Mohamed Al Fayed has told Hughes his job is safe and further reassured him by pledging £10million for next month's transfer window.

While concerned that Fulham are only goal difference away from the relegation zone, Al Fayed is aware main striker Bobby Zamora has been out for over three months and summer signing Moussa Dembele has also been plagued by injury.
