Fulham boss Silva blasts Bournemouth ball-boys: Were they told to do it?!

Fulham boss Marco Silva rejected criticism of Bernd Leno after defeat to Bournemouth.

Leno drew criticism for pushing a ball-boy who was taking time to collect the ball with Fulham chasing the game.

It led to some confrontations between the players, but Silva defended his goalkeeper.

He said, "I spoke to Bernd before I left the field, because I saw it well.

"I don't know if it was an instruction or not, but the ball boys took their time every time. The game should be the same if one team wins or not.

"The ball boys kept delaying the game and Bernd wanted to play fast, so he took the ball from the boy.

"He didn't push him. It wasn't that hard, but he apologised and he's a top professional."
