Fulham boss Rene Meulensteen wants to bring former Manchester United coach Mike Phelan to Craven Cottage.
The Mail on Sunday says Meulensteen has offered his former Manchester United colleague Phelan the chance to be his No 2 at Craven Cottage.
Meulensteen and Phelan worked successfully under Sir Alex Ferguson at United and the Dutchman wants a reunion to help Fulham beat relegation.
