Fulham boss Marco Silva satisfied with Brighton draw

Fulham boss Marco Silva was satisfied with their 1-1 draw against Brighton on Sunday.

Joao Palhinha found an equaliser after Brighton had gone ahead through Evan Ferguson.

Silva said: "It was a completely different two halves, I know that is a cliché sometimes in football. But it was completely two different halves.

"I think we had too much respect for them in the first half, we did not decide well when to press, it was not a collective pressure. A lot of the time we arrived late. We started to have too many doubts with the moments to press. And of course we were playing a side who connect really well from the first phase to the second. It was more difficult for us.

"They were much stronger, they won all the duels and the percentage of ball that they won was for sure really big. And when we were on the ball we made too many errors. The goal is a good example. We are not taking the right decisions.

"Second half was completely different. We were much more on the front foot. We pressed them higher and our reaction was really good. We have to give credit to the players. The reaction, the way we equalised, the big chance we had after we equalised.

"We showed good organisation to keep the result. At the end I think it was a fair result after our reaction in the second half."
