Fulham boss Mark Hughes will wait until the summer before deciding about a new contract for John Pantsil.
The Ghana fullback's deal expires in June.
"There are a number of players this year that are in the last year of their contracts and we're working our way through him," Hughes told the Fulham & Hammersmith Chronicle.
"I've spoken to John on a number of occasions. He needs to play well between now and the end of the season and I'm sure we'll have the conversation then."
