Fulham boss Roy Hodgson believes Bobby Zamora may have to play out his career with the pain of his dislocated collarbone.

Zamora is still recovering from his injury.

And Hodgson said: "It'll be a while before Bobby becomes totally pain-free, if ever.

"But there aren't many players in top-level football who have played as many games as Bobby who go on to the field without some sort of pain, or a reminder from an ancient injury."
