Fulham boss Hodgson: Dikgacoi a mixture of Murphy and Etuhu

Fulham boss Roy Hodgson is excited about their deal for Golden Arrows midfielder Kagiso Dikgacoi.

Hodgson said: “We have reached an agreement with his club and with the player, but we will have to go to tribunal for a work permit.

“That is because South Africa are rated just past the 70-mark in the world. But I think when they [the tribunal] see South Africa are currently in the world top 70 and heading for a World Cup, they will look kindly on it.

“He is one of their stars, who has played the last 17 matches for them since he broke into the team and is a key element.

“He’s an all-round midfielder, in the same sort of mould as Danny Murphy and Dickson Etuhu, if anything, but maybe more Etuhu than Murphy .”
