Newcastle United and Fulham are still not able to find an agreement on the sale of Aleksander Mitrovic.

Fulham want to sign the player, but they are around £2m away from the valuation that Newcastle have set for the player.

Talks are ongoing, per Sky Sports. Both clubs want to find an agreement.

Newcastle want an £18 million fee that would help them strengthen the squad for manager Rafa Benitez.

Mitrovic was on loan at Fulham last season, managing 12 goals in 20 games.

He helped the side secure promotion through the playoffs from the Sky Bet Championship.
