Fulham star Saša Lukić was pleased with his positive display at Tottenham earlier in the week.

While the Cottagers were unable to get a result against Ange Postecoglou's side, Lukić was glad to put in a shift for his team.

He spoke about the game with the club's official website, while also previewing their clash against Brighton next time around.

Lukić stated: "We did very well in the first 30 minutes, but we then conceded and from that moment we felt a little bit low.

"In the second half, we started well again but unfortunately we conceded a second goal. However, we created chances and of course I'm disappointed overall because we didn't get a result.

"We created opportunities which is a good sign, although in some moments we needed to be calmer."

On Brighton, he added: "They're a very good side and I try to watch them as much as possible because they have an Italian coach. When I was at Torino he managed Sassuolo and he adopted more or less this style of always wanting to dominate possession.

"Last season they played very well and this year they are playing in the same way, and we know we'll need to prepare well for this match.

"I saw their second half in the Europa League against Ajax yesterday and you can see the similar style to last season as they have the same coach and set up."
