Frosinone coach Eusebio di Francesco insists defeat at AC Milan was undeserved.

Di Francesco says the 3-1 scoreline flattered Milan.

He said, "I felt like I was reliving the match against Inter where we did well and then conceded a goal late on. Football is made up of episodes, they were better, they respected us.

"We tried to play our game with our absences, we tried to produce pleasant football, it's a shame that they then found the 2-0. They were better at scoring goals, even if in the end our goalkeeper didn't have any major commitments.

"To dream, why not, but at the same time keep your feet on the ground with the knowledge that these kids can give satisfaction even if they are very young. We will learn through these mistakes, which is a shame because here at San Siro we always come with an idea and a thought and we leave empty-handed, it would have been nice to bring home a positive result."
