French pundit Pierre Menes was left unimpressed by Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba's performance in France's World Cup triumph over Argentina.

Menes believes Pogba failed to make a meaningful impression for the 4-3 win.

He said, "Nothing to say at the activity level. But at the level of contribution to the game, apart from a very beautiful cross for (Kylian) Mbappé in the first-half, we have not seen enough.

"It must be said that he was not spared by the Argentines. We expect even better from him."

Menes gave Pogba 5/10 on his blog for the performance in Kazan.
