Freiburg striker Papiss Cisse admits he's flattered by interest from Sunderland.

Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill wants to sign Cisse this month.

"I'm flattered by the interest of Sunderland and other clubs," Cisse told Sky Sports. "I'd like to one day play in England.

"I love the Premier League and want to make my name there like my mate Demba Ba is doing with Newcastle at the moment.

"My German club Freiburg has their say as well and I have big respect to that club who made me who I am today."
